JESSY-JEAN KAFKA

Graduate from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. BFA, Illustration Minor.

Since graduating from NSCAD, I have remained in Halifax and have been working freelance jobs within the city. I have had the pleasure to work with Saint Mary's University, Discovery Centre, and Vandal Doughnuts.

With a huge interest in fantasy and animation, I've attended Fantasy & Sci-fi conventions as a fan and vendor, making connections within the community and having the chance to share my passion with others. My art is rooted in both fantasy and horror, and I have a desire to show people the beauty in the grotesque.

A good example of the beautiful grotesque would be my hairless cat, Mortimer.
